Make 2025 your best year yet!

You said that a year ago right? This time it will be different.

As 2024 comes to an end I guess we can all ask a similar question. How did I fare? Did I achieve everything I wanted to in 2024? Hopefully, you are among the lucky 10–15% who achieved some of their goals. Some of us are not so lucky.

Be that as it may, the last few days of this year are a perfect opportunity to take stock of exactly how far we’ve come, and whether we got out the gate this year. Don’t despair, now is the perfect time to reflect on 2024 with an honest and open mind. To acknowledge the opportunities you’ve missed, the times that you didn’t act when you should have.

Whether it was to sign up for a short course on a topic that interests you, whether it was to get your career back on track by sharpening your skills and updating your CV, it could be making new friends or reconnecting with distant relatives. Whatever it was, acknowledge it. Look it squarely in the face. Document it if you can.

Thereafter, turn over a new page in that notebook (mentally or physically) and write down what you want to achieve in 2025. It doesn’t have to be elaborate, it doesn’t have to be grand. Let it be practical. Write out exactly the steps you require to reach your goal. Preparation is key.
